Kelly Brook will make her West End stage debut staring as ‘Jeannie’ in Neil LaBute’s hit play “FAT PIG” at the Comedy Theatre in London. She will play the role from Monday 13 October. Kelly Brook joins Kevin Bishop (‘Carter’), Nicholas Burns (‘Tom’) and Ella Smith (‘Helen’) in the transfer of the play. “FAT PIG” originally opened at the Trafalgar Studios in May this year and subsequently played to sell-out business, creating the demand for its transfer to the Comedy Theatre. The role of ‘Jeannie’ is currently being played by Joanna Page, who will continue to star in “FAT PIG” until Saturday 11 October.
Kelly Brook, who recently took part in “Strictly Come Dancing” on BBC 1, is an English model, actress and TV presenter who topped the ‘FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2005’ list. She has appeared on stage in “Eye Contact” at the Riverside Studios in London and her films include “The Italian Job”, “Deuce Bigelow: European Gigolo” and “Sorted”.
“FAT PIG” is directed by its author
Neil LaBute.
When Tom first meets Helen there is an instant connection, but it's not exactly love at first sight... Helen is a bright, funny, sexy young woman who happens to be plus-sized - and then some - and it’s only so long before the insults start to fly from Tom's shallow yet shockingly funny office buddies. Television's hottest young comedians star in this searing, funny and ultimately touching love story.
“FAT PIG” in London is produced by
