New Production Company Quite Good Theatre are pleased to announce additions to the line up for their first event of 2017, Some People Singing.
West End stars Elena Skye (Kinky Boots) and Ryan Carter (Motown) will join previously announced cast members Sabrina Aloueche (We Will Rock You, Les Misérables), Jonathan Dudley (The Book of Mormon), Idriss Kargbo (Wicked, Shrek The Musical) Reece Kerridge (The Book of Mormon) and Zoe Rogers (42nd Street), Sam Carlyle, Thomas Holland and Charlotte Layne for an evening of contemporary musical theatre at The Shaw Theatre, London. The fantastically talented cast will be supported by a live band and will be performing a range of modern theatre classics, with all box office profits in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Quite Good Theatre's Founder and Artistic Director Kai Wright said:
"Six years ago, my stepmother, Sam, lost what was a lengthy and interminable battle with cancer. Without the support of Macmillan at this time, a situation that was already unthinkable would have been simply impossible. The support that they provided Sam, my dad and my siblings as a family from first diagnosis through to the end is something that I'll never forget. The work they continue to do is nothing short of inspiring and I cannot thank them enough. With the help of some of my incredibly talented friends, I'm very much looking forward to being able to contribute something to this fantastic cause."
Some People Singing will be at The Shaw Theatre for one night only on Sunday 14 May. Tickets are available for £15 plus booking fee. For more information, and to purchase tickets, please visit www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
