Singer/songwriter and musical theatre performer Jonathan Eiø will present a special Valentine's treat at The Pheasantry in Chelsea on Sunday February 5th. "Love Love Love" will be a musical evening of love related songs old and new - an eclectic mix of pop and musical theatre, 80s "cheese" and classic pop songs!
Eio, seen recently as Dandini playing opposite Jonathan Ansell's Prince Charming in Cinderella, earned great plaudits playing the lead role of Melchior in the UK tour of the Tony and Olivier award-winning musical Spring Awakening. Previous performing credits include the roles of Jack in Sondheim's Into The Woods at the Landor Theatre and Will in the workshop premiere of the musical Based On A True Story at the Jermyn Street Theatre. Also, together with veteran West End star Leo Andrew, he featured in the Landor Theatre's "Spotlight On….." season in 2011.
His song-writing talent has already produced material for two solo albums - The Space In Between and New Beginnings - and a number of these songs will be included in the programme of "Love Love Love".
The Danish/Manx/British star will be joined by special guests Jodie Jacobs and Dan Clews. 2011 BWW:UK Award winner Jodie Jacobs can currently be seen in Rock Of Ages at the Shaftesbury Theatre and her impressive musical theatre CV includes principal roles in shows as diverse as Rodgers and Hammerstein's State Fair and Me And Juliet and We Will Rock You, Footloose and Evita.
"Twilight folktronica tinged artist" Dan Clews is a singer/songwriter who has received huge attention from national and regional radio, most notably in the form of a Radio 2 play-listing for his single, 'Move Too Fast', which spent five weeks on the Radio 2 play-list in 2010.
"Love Love Love" will also introduce Lauren Austin from the Stage 100 Award winning Musical Theatre Academy.
With a full band accompanying these four performers, it promises to be a fun and romantic evening.
