Following a career defining year, internationally acclaimed singer, pianist and songwriter Joe Stilgoe is proud to announce his live Christmas Special from the heart of London's West End. This festive one-off celebration will be a wonderful mix of Joe's critically acclaimed new songs with his inimitable takes on everybody's yuletide classics.
For this one, memorable evening, Joe will be joined on stage by a very special guest and his very own sixteen-piece big band. What better way is there to start the Christmas festivities?
The past twelve months have seen Joe take the UK by storm. His hotly anticipated third studio album garnered 5 star reviews and the album launch at London's iconic Old Vic Theatre was a total sell-out and gained him a standing ovation. He also made a critically acclaimed West End debut in Kevin Spacey's High Society - also at The Old Vic - and embarked on his debut tour of the UK following a sold out season at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Joe Stilgoe is the renaissance man of modern jazz. He has twice topped the UK jazz chart, featured on many radio programmes including 6 appearances on Friday Night is Music Night on BBC Radio 2, The Horne Section on BBC Radio 4, In Tune, Loose Ends and The Chris Evans Breakfast Show among many others. He has played all the major international jazz festivals, had several sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and appears regularly at Ronnie Scott's and Crazy Coqs.
