Raise money for BBC Children in Need and enjoy a night at one of the London's biggest musicals, at BBC London 94.9FM's special gala performance of smash-hit award-winning musical JERSEY BOYS at the Prince Edward Theatre in the West End on Wednesday 17th November 2010.

BBC London's 94.9FM presenters Gaby Roslin, Paul Ross, Vanessa Feltz and Danny Baker are all delighted to be introducing this special gala performance. All money raised will go towards helping disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK.

JERSEY BOYS is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons - Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Nick Massi and Tommy DeVito. The internationally acclaimed hit musical tells the remarkable rise to stardom of one of the most successful bands in pop history and how four New Jersey boys from the wrong side of the tracks invented their own unique sound, were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and sold 100 million records worldwide all before they were thirty. JERSEY BOYS includes the hits 'Beggin' 'Sherry', 'Walk Like A Man', 'December, 1963 (Oh What a Night)', 'Big Girls Don't Cry', 'My Eyes Adored You', 'Let's Hang On (To What We've Got)', 'Bye Bye Baby', 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You', 'Working My Way Back to You', 'Fallen Angel', 'Rag Doll' and 'Who Loves You'.

The BBC London 94.9FM Breakfast presenters Gaby Roslin and Paul Ross are both huge fans of the hit musical: Gaby said: "If you want to have the 'West End' night of your life, and help raise money for a wonderful charity, then join us at one of my favourite ever musicals." Paul Ross added: "I've seen this brassy, brilliant belter of a show three times now and I'm still hungry for more. Superb songs and a sensational cast combine to make this no-holds barred stage biog of the awesome Four Seasons the best Rock 'n' Soul musical of all time!"

Julian Stoneman, Executive Producer of JERSEY BOYS said "JERSEY BOYS the musical is thrilled and honoured to continue its association with Children In Need for a further year. The entire creative team, cast, musicians, technical crew and theatre staff know how important a collaboration with BBC Children In Need is in changing the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. Oh What A Night for BBC Children In Need!"

The London cast is headed by Ryan Molloy as 'Frankie Valli', Stephen Ashfield as 'Bob Gaudio', Jon Boydon as 'Tommy DeVito', Eugene McCoy as 'Nick Massi', with Scott Monello as the alternate 'Frankie Valli'. They are joined by Simon Adkins as 'Bob Crewe', Jade Westaby as 'Mary Delgado', Mark Carroll as 'Donnie/Knuckles', Jye Frasca as 'Joe Pesci', Charlie Bull as 'Lorraine', Michelle Francis as 'Francine', Tee Jaye as 'Barry', Stuart Milligan as 'Gyp Decarlo', Joseph Prouse as 'Norm Waxman' and James Winter as 'Hank'. JERSEY BOYS has won forty two major international awards since first opening on Broadway in 2006. This rich haul includes 'Best Musical Award' at the Laurence Olivier Awards, the Whatonstage.com Awards, the Visit London People's Choice Awards and the highly sought-after Tony Award. JERSEY BOYS is written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe. The London production is staged by the entire original Broadway creative team, led by director Des McAnuff and choreographer Sergio Trujillo. "
