A sell-out hit in concert halls throughout Europe, Emmy Award winning comedian Hans Liberg combines humour and extreme musical virtuosity to poke fun at the world of classical music.
"Liberg is madly inspired" The Times
An eccentric joker, the lovechild of Victor Borge and Woody Allen, or simply a vastly talented Dutchman; all these qualities have been used to describe Hans Liberg. Liberg is musical genius who wows audiences with a range of different western styles, from classical to pop - from Bach to Beatles to ringtones.
Today Liberg's fame reaches far beyond the Dutch borders, attracting full houses all over Europe. The international character of his shows, his musical virtuosity, and his subtle humour make him a highly sought-after artist. For his first English-language show, which he performed at the Edinburgh Festival in 1995, 'The Scotsman' gave Liberg a 5-star review, "...He is more than a new Victor Borge. Hans Liberg is a law unto himself and he doesn't let you forget it...". In 1996 he played at the Edinburgh Festival again (two weeks), followed in 1999 by the Peacock Theatre, London: "Liberg Live in London".
