West End's production of Hairspray and Rupert Goold's Macbeth were among the top winners at the 2007 Evening Standard Awards Ceremony, held Tuesday November 27; Richard Wilson hosted.
Hairspray received the Ned Sherrin Award for Best Musical. Goold's Macbeth, starring Patrick Stewart (set to transfer to BAM in February 2008) took home both Best Actor and Best Director awards.
