"I'd already mentally booked a flight to Cuba by the time the curtain went down" The Stage

"The Hottest, coolest, sexiest bunch of dancers in town" The Sunday Express

As Cuba enjoys its 50 year anniversary of the Communist revolution, London shares in the celebrations with the return of legendary Cuban dance show Havana Rakatan.

One of Sadler's Wells' most successful West End productions, Havana Rakatan takes us on a captivating journey through Cuba's music and dance, which stems from a fusion of Spanish culture and African spiritual beliefs.

The dancers of Ballet Rakatan company are regarded as some of the most talented and versatile performers to emerge from Cuba in many years. Their dazzling displays of flamenco, yorubaand Afro-Haitian rhythms as well as jazz, mambo and bolero, give way to the modern forms of salsa.

With live Cuban music from Cuba's well-knownson band Turquino and sensational vocals from 23 year-old Geydi Chapman, this is the ultimate way to experience Cuba's unique party spirit.
