Is it time for some more movie magic? HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD could be Hollywood's next Harry Potter-inspired trilogy, according to the New York Daily News.

"Tinseltown sources" told the outlet that Warner Bros. is looking to bring JK Rowling's West End play to the big screen by 2020, potentially in three parts, and possibly starring - you guessed it - Daniel Radcliffe.

"Warners is secretly working on getting the movie rights and a screenplay settled, and of course in their minds only one man should be Harry," a source told the Daily News. "However he has made it clear that his mind is certainly not focused on returning to the role anytime soon - and that could be until he hits 40."

As reported earlier this summer, Radcliffe hasn't ruled out a return to the Harry Potter franchise. He told The Radio Times, "It would depend on the script. The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary. But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo and look what happened there! So I am saying, 'No,' for now but leaving room to backtrack in the future."

Radcliffe just finished a run off-Broadway in PRIVACY, a new play co-created and written by Olivier nominated playwright James Graham, and co-created and directed by Olivier Award winner Josie Rourke. He also recently shared with USA Today that he "definitely" wants to do musical theater again, once he finds the perfect role.

HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD, the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage, began previews in June of 2016 in London's West End at the Palace Theatre. It had its official opening on Saturday, July 30th.

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD is a new play by Jack Thorne, directed by John Tiffany with movement by Steven Hoggett, set by Christine Jones, costumes by Katrina Lindsay, music & arrangements by Imogen Heap, lighting by Neil Austin, sound by Gareth Fry, illusions & magic by Jamie Harrison, music supervision & arrangements by Martin Lowe and casting byJulia Horan.

HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD is one play presented in two parts. Both parts are intended to be seen in order on the same day (matinee and evening) or on two consecutive evenings.
