Lead Pencil is a comedy troupe raised on Art Attack & re-runs of Saved By The Bell and they're all held together with sticky-back plastic. After their hugely successful 2013 show, Louise Beresford, Maddie Rice and Dave Bibby have packed their LOLsRoyce once again with a brand new colourful and nostalgic crew of characters, songs and sketches they made earlier.
Top sketch group Lead Pencil make their Brighton debut in 2014 and they're bringing some friends along for the ride
Upstairs at the Three And Ten, Brighton Fringe
17th & 18th May 2014, 17:00 (1hr)
Especially for Brighton Fringe 2014, Lead Pencil are joined by a host of friends including BEASTS, Jack Rooke, Jody Kamali, zazU and Liz Peters.
Dressed like gentlemen and schooled in the twin arts of humour and needlework, BEASTS conspire to craft slick hilarious and 'sublimely surprising' (The List) sketches.
Newcomer Jack Rooke who, along with hosting BANG! Said the Gun and being an associate artist at The Roundhouse, is fast becoming one of the most exciting emerging stand ups of 2014.
Jody Kamali is a versatile and ridiculously fun Character Comedian, Clown, Actor, Filmmaker and avid Traveller. He is a regular face on the alternative comedy and cabaret circuit in London.
zazU is a parallel universe sketch show about a whole world with a tiny village mentality. Created in 1857 when Tim zazU followed a bee through a portal in a map, there are new rules, new customs and a very new fashion sense.
2013 Funny Women Award semi-finalist Liz Peters is a musical comedian who writes darkly comic songs about such subjects as human butchery, sweaty Argentinian acrobats and silver topped legend, Jon Snow.
