EXPOSURE will make its world première in spring 2012 at a major West End venue to be confirmed: EXPOSURE, a new musical which will look at the modern obsession with fame and celebrity, which is currently in development, will be partnering with Getty Images as visual content provider to the musical. Exposure will be granted access to Getty Images' extraordinary visual content and collections, which span over 150 years and encompasses celebrity and archival content.

This is the first time Getty Images has partnered with a musical to enable its content to be integrated into a musical production and their iconic images will make the show a visual treat. Most excitingly, Getty Images will also be sharing some extremely rare images of the stars, and most notably recently unearthed photos of Marily Monroe.

EXPOSURE is a contemporary Faustian tale; a musical odyssey that dissects the power of photography for good or evil. It takes one click of the shutter to change people's lives, so the choice of the protagonist, Jimmy Tucker is ultimately our own: to endorse the ephemeral pursuit of fame and fortune or to do something meaningful, like the exposure of injustice and poverty.

Exposure will make its world première in spring 2012 at a major West End venue to be confirmed.
EXPOSURE's creator, Mike Dyer, is delighted with the partnership. "It will be wonderful to have my vision fleshed out by these marvellous photographs," he said. "I'm absolutely thrilled to have the research and support that Getty Images can provide, to help us uncover some visual gems that will make the show visually stunning".

"Getty Images is thrilled to be able to be involved with such an exciting venture as EXPOSURE. Having seen the project grow and develop from its initial conception, we had no hesitation in wanting to be a part of what we see as a ground-breaking musical and, coupled with our world class imagery, a visual as well as aural feast. We are privileged to be associated with such an inspired production and, ultimately, to be in a position to help bring Mike Dyer's vision to life."- Matthew Butson, Vice President Hulton Archive, Getty Images

These magical moments of time stood still, will be brought to life by EXPOSURE's moving storyline and original music.
