The Wyvern Theatre will be hosting a free morning of pirate-themed activities to end half term week on Friday 27th October from 10.30am till 12.30pm.

Visitors to the Wyvern will be able to take part in a pirate-themed treasure hunt around the building to be in with a chance of winning a very special prize and have the opportunity to get involved with pirate-themed craft activities with members of the Swindon Theatres team. The crocodile from this year's pantomime, Peter Pan will be on display for photos and the Wyvern cafe will be open during the event serving drinks and light refreshments. There may also be the chance to meet a pirate or two...

The fun morning will be the final day of pantomime related activities during half term week which will see the Peter Pan crocodile travelling to Kidz About on Tuesday 24th, The Brunel Centre on Wednesday 25th and The Oasis Leisure Centre on Thursday 26th October.

Swindon Theatres Marketing Manager, Laura James says of the event:

'Half term will be a busy week for our promotions team as they travel around Swindon with fun and engaging activities that relate to Panto and other upcoming family shows. We're excited to host the final event here at the Wyvern and hope to welcome lots of families to come and be pirates for the morning and meet our friendly croc!'

The event takes place from 10.30am - 12.30pm on Fri 27th October and is free to attend. Also at the Wyvern during half term are performances of The Night Pirates on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th and Sid's Show (starring Sid from CBeebies) on Fri 27th October.
