Most recently, George played Xanthias in the critically acclaimed UK premiere of Nathan Lane's revised Broadway version of Sondheim's The Frogs (Jermyn Street Theatre).
West End/West End Tours include: Timon/Zazu in Disney's first UK/Ireland tour of The Lion King (George played Timon for Sir Tim Rice at the Irish premiere); Benjamin in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (West End/UK national tour); Schlomo in Fame with Barbara Dickson; Rick in A Slice of Saturday Night with Norman Pace; Ko-Ko (u/s) in The Mikado (Carl Rosa USA/Canada tours).

For Pitlochry Festival Theatre, notable repertory productions include: George Campbell in the world premiere of Whisky Galore - A Musical!, Dvornichek in Stoppard's Rough Crossing and Tim in Noises Off (Best Supporting Actor Award).
George gained national critical acclaim and three best actor award nominations for his portrayal of Otto Kringelein in Grand Hotel (Southwark Playhouse). In January 2017, he was featured by Mark Shenton as one of The Best Leading Men in UK Musical Theatre (The Stage).
