Gay Soper will take over from SheiLA Reid, playing Helena, for the latter part of the National Tour of Maurice's Jubilee. Gay will join previously announced Olivier Award winning cast members Nichola McAuliffe (Katie) and Julian Glover (Maurice) playing at Bromley Churchill Theatre (26-30 March), Cambridge Arts Theatre (2-6 April) Theatre Royal, Windsor (8-13 April) and Oxford Playhouse (15-20 April).

Maurice's Jubilee, presented by Pleasance and PW Productions in association with Wild Thyme Productions and Ambassador Theatre Group, is written by Nichola McAuliffe, directed by multiple Fringe First winner Hannah Eidinow and has design by Christopher Richardson, lighting by Mark Jonathan and sound by Tom Lishman.

Her UK Tour credits include Doctor in the House, Star Quality, House of Ghosts and The Stripper. SheiLA Reid (Helena), Julian Glover (Maurice) and Nichola McAuliffe (Katie) are the cast for the following venues; Manchester Opera House (24-26 January), Aylesbury Waterside Theatre (29 January - 2 February), Bath Theatre Royal (4-9 February), Woking New Victoria Theatre (12 - 16 February), Richmond Theatre (19-23 February), Brighton Theatre Royal (26 February - 2 March) Birmingham New Alexandra Theatre (5-9 March) and Malvern (11 - 16 March).

A Royal encounter. An enduring love. A bungalow in Penge.

Maurice is determined to reach his 90th birthday, which is the day before the diamond jubilee. The Queen, having made him a promise 60 years before, is coming to tea. His wife is convinced he's never met the Queen. His nurse thinks it's time he did.

Maurice's Jubilee is the hilariously funny and poignant take on timeless themes, the exploration of one man's enduring commitment to a dream, and an eternal love triangle, fallen on hard times.

Olivier Award winning Julian Glover's stage credits include Oliver at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, Henry IV and Henry V for the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Voysey Inheritance at The National Theatre and Richard II at the Old Vic. His screen credits include Game of Thrones (series regular), The Empire Strikes Back, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and For Your Eyes Only.

SheiLA Reid's stage work includes American Trade for the Royal Shakespeare Company, Lucky Numbers at the Royal Court, Uncle Vanya at the Young Vic and In Extremis at The Globe. Sheila was also a member of Laurence Olivier's National Theatre Company. On screen, Sheila is best known for playing Madge Harvey in Benidorm, a part that has earned her two National Television Awards and several BAFTA nominations and she just starred in the Call The Midwife Christmas special.

Nichola McAuliffe's won The Stage Edinburgh Award for Best Actress for her role in Maurice's Jubilee and the play follows the international success of A British Subject. Nichola also won the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical for Kiss Me Kate at the Old Vic, and was nominated for another Olivier for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the Palladium Theatre. Her recent celebrated performance was in Alan Bennett's The Lady in the Van. On screen she is best known for playing Sheila Sabatini in Surgical Spirit, for seven series.
