What's going down?

Will has decided that he's ready to make his "comeback"; Glee's going to regionals, they've got all
of Sue's Cheerios money, Terry has stopped harassing him and he's finally over Emma. His mood
is ruined though as Emma runs into his classroom having found Sue's journal where she's written
she's going to commit "Sue-icide". The two dash over to her house to find her unconscious. Not to
worry, though: she had only stopped her heart, something she learnt from her CIA training. Will has no sympathy for her and insists he and Emma just leave her to it, despite Sue's protests that she has "nothing to live for".

Quinn and Sam are still on the rocks. He really is blond to believe that the reason Quinn got mono
off Finn was because she gave him mouth to mouth after he nearly choked to death on a gum ball.
Feeling that Quinn is slipping away from him, he devises a plan: rock and roll. "Who's more rock and
roll than Justin Bieber? No one." he says. And so he decides to create a one man band "the Justin
Bieber experience" and styles his hair just like the teen idol's. To test-run he hires himself out for bar mitzvah's and after seeing the girls go wild, decides this is the way to keep Quinn. "Watch out, Quinn Fabray, you're about hit head on with the full blonde Bieber."

At school Rachel has been giving Brittany half of her allowance so that she can go and buy clothes to dress like Rachel does. Miss Berry is planning her own comeback and wants to become McKinley's
latest style icon and using Brittany's popularity is sure to help her. Only problem? Today Brittany has decided to wear legwarmers but on her arms; "I got cold." Sue has been wreaking havoc down the corridors and the Glee kids are bearing the brunt of it as she shoves poor Tina into the lockers. "Get used to this abuse, Glee kids," she yells. "I've got nothing but time."

"I think she's dangerous," Will discuss with Emma after witnessing the abuse. Just then Sue walks
in: "Would you mind if I borrow one of your rafters so I can hang myself?" she asks. To both Will and Sue's dismay Emma suggests that Sue sit in on the Glee club so that she can experience "the healing power of music". Despite the fact Sue says she would in fact rather be dead than join the club, it's decided. After all it'll be the best way for Will to keep an eye on her. At Glee the kids are equally unhappy at this arrangement, protesting that she made their lives a misery. Well, they do have a point. Sue says she's no longer a threat and just hopes their "singing and dancing with pull me out of my doldrums and give me a reason to live". In other news Will has received a letter about who they'll be facing at Regionals, asides from the Warblers, and once again they'll be competing against Aural Intensity. The judges have also decided to give this year's competition a theme; anthems. And no, Brittany, it isn't "the bottom of an ant's pants". Just then Sam pipes up and performs his own anthem; "Baby" by one Justin Bieber. All the boys laugh at him but they soon change their tune when they see how it makes the Glee girls swoon.

After Glee, Puck, Mike and Artie corner Sam saying they want in on "the Justin Bieber Experience"
having "underestimated the power of The Biebs". They've been experiencing a "post-Valentine's
Day lull" and need something to kickstart their relationships again. Finn tries to burst their bubble
by telling them, "You guys do realise that Justin Bieber sucks, right? I'm going to spend my time on songs that aren't geared towards twelve year olds," he tells them. "Good, then you won't have time to pick up any other guys' girlfriends" Sam replies. I sense a fight coming on.

The next day Rachel is rather annoyed at the fact that everyone is now wearing leg warmers on
their arms. "You're a genius. I never knew my arms could be so toasty," Tina tells Brittany. Rachel
demands her allowance back but Brittany says that it's already gone. Her Uncle's goat ate it. Rachel decides the only way for her to proceed is that she comes to school dressed exactly like her, asking Brittany to pull off her "sexy schoolgirl librarian chic" look.

"Dear Journal, my lust for life is renewed," Sue writes. "I have found myself dropped behind enemy
lines, poised to destroy the Glee Club from within. Schuester and his guidance counselor Ginger fell
for my pity party hook, line and sinker, and now I'm in and ready to sink them, once and for all. Thus begins my plan. I will pit these Glee Clubbers against one another, rupturing the group internally, until it explodes like a ripe zit!" It was only a matter of time before she returned to her old ways.

She starts her plan straight away and it's Mercedes and Rachel she chooses to pit against each other. She tells each of them that she needs their advice on how to be a diva and then casually mentions to both girls that the other had told her they didn't think they were very talented. The two have a showdown in the hallway: "you know there's only one I in Diva," Mercedes snaps. The two decide to settle this the only way they know; a sing-off. "I have to go get my cross trainers, you wanna know why? I'm going to be doing some runs." Ouch.

"So Friday night I figured we'd check of the Sullivan ring," Finn asks Quinn. She's still undecided
about what she's doing that night, which really means she's undecided about whether she's going
to pick him or Sam. The new "Justin Bieber Experience" walks in complete with hoodies and Bieber
hair, even Puck is wearing a hilarious hair piece. "Sweet Jesus, who bought tickets to crazy town?"
Mercedes asks but once again the girls can hardly contain themselves after the boys perform
another Bieber hit, "Somebody to Love". The performance also clinches it for Quinn who decides its
Sam she's going to be spending her Friday night with. Lauren, however, only gives Puck a "C+" but
tells him that she may have a proposition for him. Santana approaches Sam and tells him that he
needs to wise up about Quinn and Finn and that if he ever wants a revenge hook-up then she is most definitely his girl.

Finn is still in disbelief that Quinn chose Sam over him. "He just got up there and owned it. It was
sexy," she says of "The Justin Bieber Experience". In the gym Puck is watching Lauren kick every guys butt at wrestling practice. Her proposition? She wants to sing her first solo number at Glee and wants his guidance. She admits she's a bit nervous about singing in front of a crowd. Puck's advice? Imagine them in their underwear; you need to imagine them as being more vulnerable than you he says. "I want to be great. Or at least as good as Berry," Lauren demands.

It's about to go down at Glee and the diva-off between Rachel and Mercedes. The pair has chosen
one of the ultimate Broadway female duets, "Take Me or Leave Me" from Rent, and their performance certainly packs a punch. However, Sue is left looking less than gleeful as by the end of the song, the two end up in stitches of laughter realising how stupid their fight was. "Hey, where's the hate?"

Will has called Sue into his office after her outburst in Glee. He asks her what she is doing tomorrow night. "No, no way. I don't care how depressed I am I will not date a curly." He doesn't want to date her, he just wants her to go to the hospital with him, where he volunteers at the paediatric cancer ward once a month, singing with the kids. "I don't care how adorable those kids are, if I hear one song from that classic rock outfit Journey, I will start pulling catheters." I doubt there was a heart that didn't melt as we saw the two sing "This Little Light of Mine" with the children.

The next day all the girls have arrived looking very Rachel-esque, following Brittany's outfit choice.
However, when Miss Berry herself walks in they mock her, despite the fact she's dressed exactly like them. Pity it's a reindeer on her jumper rather than a carousel horse. "If you want to know what to wear, just look to Brittany," they tell her. Rachel's comeback isn't going quite as planned.

It's time for Lauren's solo debut as she sings "I Know What Boys Like" by the Waitresses. She gets off to a rocky start but gives a kick-ass performance once she uses Puck's advice and imagines them all in their underwear: props to the costume guys to dressing Sue is full dominatrix gear.

"Despite the fact that your mouth to face ratio is way off you still somehow manage to be cute,"
Santana tells Sam. She offers her services to him as mistress, saying she wants to "get on those
froggy lips". Deep down he knows that the gum ball story isn't true and dating her will prove to Finn
that he can't mess with him and will get him some buzz at McKinley.

Sue tells Will that she doesn't think any of the songs the kids have performed this week have truly
been anthems. After their visit to the hospital she's decided that she wants to get up on the stage
herself, but only if the Glee kids perform it with her. There's one catch, though, "no more Bieber". So we cut to Sue and the kids, giving a suitably angsty rendition of "SING" by My Chemical Romance all in plaid shirts, Sue's even gotten herself a matching track suit.

Sam has decided to finally break up with Quinn, though it's obviously come as a shock to Quinn. "You can't look me in the eye right now and tell me that you didn't make out with Finn." The
boy is right, Miss Fabray. Despite the fact she tells him that she's decided she definitely wants to be with her, it's too late and he's already started dating Santana.

At Glee everyone is thoroughly surprised at Sam's new relationship. Will is pleased with the club's
progress and says that whatever their feelings towards Sue she has giving them a completely "kick
butt" song for Regionals. Rachel has her doubts about the song choice. She's decided that in order to win this year the club needs to do be "bold and epic" and she suggests that they write their
own songs. However, she loses out when Will puts it to a vote.

Sue appears to be back to her old self after her week spent at Glee. Inspired by her time at the club, she completely shocks Will by saying that she has now become the new coach of Aural Intensity. Finn approaches Rachel and says that he agrees with her idea about original songs telling her she needs to "write a great song and shove it down their throats". It seems like Miss Berry might really be getting her comeback after all.

11 o'clock number

So we were treated to two numbers from teen sensation Justin Bieber tonight and I must say
that I rather enjoyed them, he is definitely a guilty pleasure. Despite how cringey "Baby" was,
Sam somehow still managed to pull it off. I could gush forever about Mercedes and Rachel's duet of "Take Me Or Leave Me", where the two really got to show off their vocal chops. I think we need to see more Broadway numbers in the show. What can I say about Lauren's number? Well she certainly gave it some welly. It's clear that she can't compete vocally with the other girls but she more than performed it. "SING" by My Chemical Romance is not your usual Glee number but it was great to see the kids rocking out, especially alongside Sue.

Quote of the week

Lauren: "If I was a country, my flag would be a big fist giving the rest of the world the finger."

Overall

Well, if there's one lesson that we can learn from this week's episode is that cheating doesn't pay.
You really would have thought that Quinn would have learnt her lesson from last time. Rachel
appears to be going back to her old self, finally, and it'll be interesting to see if we do get any original songs in the upcoming episodes. Puck and Lauren? Well, it seems pretty clear that the two probably are going to get in on, sooner rather than later. Now that Sam and Santana are a couple, it seems that it's pretty likely that Finn and Quinn are going to be McKinley's power couple again. Finally, Sue's coaching Aural Intensity? Surely this isn't allowed? Now that's she on the inside of the show choir business is it going to be easier for her to take the New Directions down?
