Full casting has been announced for musical BUGSY MALONE, which returns to the Lyric Hammersmith for a limited 12-week run following the critically acclaimed, Olivier-nominated 2015 production. Starring a diverse range of talented young performers aged nine and over, the lead roles will be performed by three different casts in rotation. Several members of 2015 production are returning, alongside talented youngsters making their professional debut.

Mark Charles, Louis Doran, Adryan Dorset-Pitt play Bugsy Malone; Dayna Cherry Chapman Dixon, Tabitha Knowles and Georgia Pemberton play Blousey Brown; Rhianna Dorris, Olivia Shaye Masterson and Leni Zieglmeier play Tallulah; Vincent Finch, Max Gill and Maddison Tyson play Fat Sam; Archie Barnes, Alesandro Bonelli and Oliver Emery play Dandy Dan; Aubrey, Denzel Eboji and Mekai Manu play Fizzy Elliot; Emily Beacock, Jaydah Bell-Ricketts and Leah Levman play Lena / Babyface; and the ensemble features Jade Albertsen, Damian Buhagiar, Ronan Burns, Alice Harvey, Cristina Hoey, Barney Hudson, Kirsty Ingram, Jordan Laviniere, Lindsay McAllister, Jacques Miche, Lauran Ray, Lucy Thomas, Alex Thomas Smith, Marcus Sharif and Dale White.

Bugsy Malone is set in Prohibition-era New York with rival gangsters Fat Sam and Dandy Dan at logger heads. As custard pies fly and Dan's destructive 'splurge guns' wreak havoc, Bugsy Malone, a penniless ex-boxer and all-round nice guy, falls for Blousey Brown, an aspiring singer. Will Bugsy be able to resist seductive songstress Tallulah, Fat Sam's moll and Bugsy's old flame, and stay out of trouble while helping Fat Sam to defend his business?

Bugsy Malone reopened the Lyric in April 2015 following a major redevelopment and the creation of the Reuben Foundation Wing. It was the UK's first professional stage production of Bugsy Malone in over a decade.

Sean Holmes, Lyric Hammersmith Artistic Director, said: "It is with great excitement and delight that we welcome the smash-hit success Bugsy Malone back to the Lyric. We look forward to reigniting the joyful connection between the audience and our extraordinary 2016 cast."

Holmes directs the production, which features choreography from recent Olivier Award winner Drew McOnie, designs from Jon Bausor, musical direction from Phil Bateman, lighting by James Farncombe, sound by Ben Harrison, fight direction by Kate Waters, and orchestrations by Phil Bateman. Bugsy Malone originated as a 1976 film by Sir Alan Parker.

Bugsy Malone previews from June 11, with press night on June 24. For more information and to book tickets, visit www.lyric.co.uk
