Underbelly Festival has been illuminating London's South Bank with its incredible programme of comedy, cabaret, circus, family shows, food and drink for five months but the time has nearly come to bid adieu for another year as the cavalcade prepares to disperse for winter.
However, before the tearful goodbyes there's still plenty of top-notch performance to enjoy: headliners Briefs were leading the charge for equal marriage in their native Australia last week but we still have nine chances left to catch their outrageous drag-circus space disco, as well as a chance to party with the boys for their performance-rave party Briefs Club (30 September).
This Sunday (24 September) the little'uns are invited for one last chance to hit the dancefloor for the final Monski Mouse's Baby Disco Dancehall of the season.
On Monday (25 Sep) Underbelly Favourite Laurie Black returns with her glitz, glam Bad Luck Cabaret before breathtaking drag deity The Virgin Mary, aka The Virgin Xtravaganzah hits town with otherworldly variety show The A/W 2017 Xtravaganzah on Tuesday (26 Sep).
On Wednesday (27 Sep) Miss Betsy Rose, Jolie Papillon and Missy Fatale bring back Gin House Burlesque: The Roaring Twenties Revue an opulent swagger through the smoke-filled gin bars of New Orleans (and the streets of London).
Thursday (28 Sep) sees French fancyman Marcel Lucont return with the debonair delights of his Cabaret Fantastique before burlesque superstar Miss Polly Rae brings the curtain down on a spectacular season of her sensuous cabaret mixed-bill Between the Sheets on Friday (29 Sep).
All of this incredible entertainment comes alongside a great range of food and drink set in some of the capital's top outdoor hangouts.
And when the festival closes despair not, Underbelly's upcoming events include the huge news production of Five Guys Named Moe at Marble Arch Theatre, Edinburgh's Christmas and Hogmanay, and bringing Austentatious to the West End for the First Time.
