Ethan Mechare presents: COMING CLEAN: LIFE AS A NAKED HOUSE CLEANER. In homes and private venues across the country, one man bares all in a true story about voyeurism, sexual fantasy and nude housework

Written by Ethan Mechare | Directed by Jill Patterson

UK Tour 6 April to 9 June (further dates TBC)

*Limited tickets per show, other shows available on request

When he first came to London from LA, TV presenter Ethan Mechare found his ideal employment after O: The Oprah Magazine inspired him to combine his passions: nudity and spot cleaning. In his funny and provocative one-man show, Ethan reveals what a year as a naked house cleaner can teach you about desire and fantasy, and why we're so shy about sex. Coming Clean: Life As A Naked House Cleaner is an immersive show performed in homes, pubs, shops and cafes across the UK, filled with anecdotes and observations to make audiences think again about sexual fantasy, desire, domesticity and disrobing.

Ethan Mechare says, "I wrote the play to encourage a cultural conversation. I want to shine a light on how little we speak about our fantasies and that if we vocalised our feelings more often we'd potentially feel less uptight and ostracized. I love that the audience helps me write the piece every night, I confide in them and ask their advice which makes everyone in the room feel connected. The key to the piece is exactly that: connection. Connection to one another, to our partners, but most importantly to ourselves - what does each of us desire? And what makes it so bad?"

Ethan Mechare's career as a TV presenter and actor began in Los Angeles, where he presented shows on MTV, VH1, and TNT. He's been in numerous plays and TV programs in America and started writing his solo show after he moved to London and took up a new career: naked house cleaning. Coming Clean: Life As A Naked House Cleaner toured London and Brighton in 2017, including as part of Camden People's Theatre's Hotbed festival.
