The Old Vic announces further performers at A Gala Celebration in Honour of Kevin Spacey, as well as host for live screening at BFI Southbank

On Sunday 19 April the great and good of British film, television and theatre will gather on stage at The Old Vic for a spectacular one-night-only gala celebration to honour Kevin Spacey and his time as Artistic Director of the Theatre.

Hosted by Hugh Bonneville, actors who have previously performed at The Old Vic, plus some new friends, will pay tribute to Spacey's contribution to British theatre, over his 11-year tenure.

Performers will include Niamh Cusack, Sinead Cusack, Lisa Dillon, Mark Gatiss, Robert Glenister, Haydn Gwynne, Gemma Jones, Elizabeth McGovern, Colin Morgan, Julian Ovenden, Neil Pearson, Tim Pigott-Smith, Annabel Scholey, Luke Treadaway, Fenella Woolgar and more.

American singer, songwriter and pianist Peter Cincotti, who appeared in season three of House of Cards with Kevin Spacey, will provide musical entertainment.

Sting and Annie Lennox will also perform.

With an A-list guest list walking the red carpet at The Old Vic, the event is set to be one of the theatrical highlights of 2015.

There are limited tickets still available for the Gala at The Old Vic and for the live streaming of the Gala at the BFI.

The evening's one-night-only live screening event will be hosted by comedian and presenter Rick Edwards on the Southbank and will begin at 7.15pm. Tickets are available here with an allocation of tickets priced at £15 for those under the age of 25 and £10 for Old Vic New Voices. There is also a further allocation of tickets ring-fenced for the local Lambeth community.

All proceeds from the evening will go to The Old Vic Endowment Fund, co-chaired by Kevin Spacey and Sir Michael Hintze. The fund has been established to help secure the future of The Old Vic as a major producing house, whilst sustaining and developing the historic listed building for generations of theatre audiences to come.

The performance will take place at The Old Vic in the CQS Space in the round with a post-event party at Ham Yard Hotel for Premium and Platinum ticket holders.
