Broadway World is delighted to announce that during the month of August, we'll have a team in Edinburgh providing news, reviews and interviews from the festival and around the fringe.

We'll be bringing you all the gossip on theatre, music and comedy - and we may even stick our necks out and predict what'll transfer to London. Our coverage starts next week, previewing what'll be on during August and talking to some of the people who'll be performing up there.

Here are our correspondents:

Hazel Davis: Hazel is a freelance writer based in the north of England. She writes for a variety of publications including the Guardian, Financial Times, Daily Telegraph, Word magazine and Billboard. Her passions are folk and choral music and stand-up comedy and in her spare time she runs a Leeds comedy night as well as the best folk music site on the web, Folking Cool.

CARRIE DUNN: Carrie is a freelance writer and the editor of Broadway World in the UK. She is the Guardian's West End Girl, with a weekly column about what's happening in the world of musicals, and appears on television and radio discussing theatre. She has a Masters in English literature from King's College London, and when she's not at the theatre she's likely to be at a sporting event, watching television or eating biscuits.

ROBERT GOULD: Bob is an ex-teacher, author of history text-books and lyricist/librettist. His musical, My Land's Shore (with composer Christopher J Orton) received its concert premiere in Cardiff in 2007. Current musical projects include B.O.A.T.S., Elephant Juice, Grace Notes and Flop with Christopher J Orton and After The Turn with Caden Jones.

CLARE MADDOX: Clare lives in Edinburgh and works for the Scottish Parliament equivalent of Hansard. She has written for and edited several publications, including features for Mongolia's English-language newspaper. She regularly visits Edinburgh's Traverse and Lyceum theatres, and attends many other cultural events in the city. She has an MA in history from the University of Edinburgh and currently lives in a house constructed almost entirely out of books.

JESSICA PINKETT: Jessica recently graduated from the University of Sussex and is now embarking upon a career in PR. She currently lives in Brighton but plans to move to London before the end of the year. This is her first trip to Edinburgh and her time will be split between promoting and assistant-producing Time Out of Joint, blogging for Broadway World, and reviewing shows for Three Weeks magazine.
