Seductive, darkly comic with a rollercoaster of a plot line SPEAKING IN TONGUES is the play everyone has been talking about this season.

Now entering the final four weeks of a critically acclaimed run SPEAKING IN TONGUES, with John Simm taking time out from playing The Master (Dr Who's evil nemesis), has attracted an A-list audience including Robbie Coltrane, Sadie Frost, Annie Lennox, Alan Rickman, Patrick Stewart, David Tennant, David Walliams and Dominic West, as well as repeat visits from its large number of devoted fans.

Tackling the themes of infidelity, desire, guilt and obsession within love and romance, it holds a mirror to the universal experience of relationships. The story of two simultaneous infidelities is intertwined within a labyrinthine thriller, as Detective Zat (John Simm) explores the mystery of a mysterious stiletto and a missing psychiatrist.

Written by Andrew Bovell (WHEN THE RAIN STOPS FALLING, Almeida Theatre), SPEAKING IN TONGUES has won plaudits not only for the stunning ensemble performances of its talented cast - John Simm "superb...bruised humanity and sharp wit", Ian Hart "nervily protean", Lucy Cohu "luminously engaging" and Kerry Fox "excellent performance", but also for up-and-coming director Toby Frow, who has been called "a young director to watch" (Independent on Sunday).
