Dominic West, who is currently rehearsing for his role as Professor Higgins in Sheffield's Crucible Theatre production of My Fair Lady, also takes the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Upstairs stage each night in Jez Butterworth's The River, running through November 17.

According to the Daily Mail, The River, directed by Ian Rickson, is set to move to the West End, but due to his My Fair Lady commitment, West might not be able to travel with the production. It will remain to be seen whether the show forges ahead sooner or later when West's schedule frees up near the end of 2013.

The River also stars Miranda Raison, Laura Donnelly and Gillian Saker. In My Fair Lady, West appears alongside Martyn Ellis and Carly Bawden.
