Deutsche Entertainment AG Buys Out THRILLER LIVE Producer

According to The Stage, German entertainment company Deutsche Entertainment AG has bought out British entertainment producer Flying Music Group for £5m, with plans to move into the UK and touring theatre market.

Flying Music Group is the producer for Thriller Live, The Kite Runner, and the upcoming The Toxic Avenger.

Deutsche Entertainment AG is one of the leading live entertainment service providers in Europe. The group of companies with more than twenty subsidiaries and affiliates in Germany, Switzerland and Great Britain is divided into the segments Live Touring and Entertainment Services.

With the acquisition, DEAG expects sales to increase to more than €100 million in 2018.

In response to this new business venture, Paul Walden and Derek Nicol of Flying Music Group say, "As an independent promoter, this is an exciting development for the Flying Music Group. As our company continues to grow, we´re excited to be entering into a new chapter with The Combined international strength of Kilimanjaro Live and DEAG behind us."
