David Bedella will continue his run of devilish West End starring roles by playing unscrupulous lawyer ‘Billy Flynn' in the smash-hit West End show "CHICAGO" at the Cambridge Theatre, with his first performance on Monday 28 February. His previous West End roles include creating the character of ‘Satan' in the notorious "Jerry Springer the Opera", for which he won the 2004 Olivier Award for ‘Best Actor in a Musical', crazed scientist ‘Dr Frank-N-Furter' in "The Rocky Horror Show" and KGB agent ‘Alexander Molokov' in "Chess" at the Royal Albert Hall. His film credits include Oliver Stone's "Alexander" with Anthony Hopkins and "Batman Begins" with Christian Bale. He will play the role for 10 weeks only until 8 May.

Meanwhile, Sarah Soetaert continues to star as ‘Roxie Hart', Lisa Donmall as ‘Velma Kelly' and Victor McGuire ‘Amos Hart' and Russell Whitehead as ‘Mary Sunshine'.

As the London production of "CHICAGO" overtakes the Broadway production of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" as the 10th longest running musical ever, a new booking period goes on sale taking bookings to 29 January 2012.

"CHICAGO" opened at the Adelphi Theatre on 18 November 1997 to rave reviews and immediately became a sell-out hit. "CHICAGO" won the 1998 Laurence Olivier Award for 'Outstanding Musical Production' as well as the 1998 Critics Circle Drama Award for 'Best Musical'. "CHICAGO" transferred from the Adelphi Theatre to the Cambridge Theatre in April 2006. "CHICAGO" is produced in London by the Broadway producers Barry and Fran Weissler.

"CHICAGO", which is based on the play by Maurine Dallas Watkins, has a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb. "CHICAGO" is choreographed by Ann Reinking in the style of Bob Fosse and directed by Walter Bobbie. The West End production of "CHICAGO" is staged by the entire original Broadway creative team.

Tickets to "CHICAGO" for the new booking period are priced from £27.50 - £65.00. Currently, tickets are priced from £25.00 - £59.00, and are available from the Cambridge Theatre Box Office on 0844 412 4652. Performance times at the Cambridge Theatre are Mondays to Thursdays at 8.00pm, with Friday performances at 5.00pm and 8.30pm and Saturday performances at 3.00pm and 8.00pm.
