A new cast has been announced for The Woman in Black, one of the most exciting, gripping and successful theatre events ever performed, now in its 23rd year in the West End in a production revisited by original director Robin Herford.
Ben Deery (Anne Boleyn, All's Well That Ends Well, Henry VIII at Shakespeare's Globe; La Cage Aux Folles at The Playhouse Theatre; Dangerous Corner, Much Ado About Nothing at Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds) will play The Actor.
David Acton (Down by the Greenwood Side at Donmar Warehouse; King Lear at the Young Vic; Hamlet at Oxford Playhouse; The Clandestine Marriage at Bristol Old Vic) will play Arthur Kipps.The new cast will take over on the 26th September 2011.Unanimously acclaimed by the critics, The Woman in Black combines the power and intensity of live theatre with the cinematic quality of film noir.
