According to the Really Useful Group's website, Connie Fisher is out of the London revival of The Sound of Music this week and producers are offering to exchange tickets.

"Due to her ongoing illness, Connie Fisher has been advised to take full rest this week. The Producers are delighted with Sophie Bould's performance as Maria and the production is outstanding but they appreciate that many people have booked over this half term week to see Connie. Subsequently, they are offering to exchange tickets, in advance, for performances this week. Please contact your point of sale if you wish to exchange," according to the website.

Fisher recently extended her run in the show through February of 2008.  She was chosen to play Maria through the hit BBC reality talent search "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria."  She received glowing reviews for her West End debut in the show.

The Sound of Music began previews at the London Palladium on November 3rd and opened on November 15th. Jeremy Sams (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) directs and Andrew Lloyd Webber produces. The revival also stars Alexander Hanson as Captain Von Trapp, and opera star Lesley Garrett as the Mother Abbess.

The Sound of Music, which concerns a spirited young governess who becomes the matriarch of the von Trapp family, features music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics and book by Oscar Hammerstein II.
