Christina Bennington To Perform Debut Intimate London Concerts  ImageFrom rock to Rogers and Hammerstein, actress and singer Christina Bennington is widely considered to be among the most versatile of the West End's leading ladies. Currently starring as Raven in Bat Out Of Hell at London's Dominion Theatre, she is equally at home singing the classics. An Irish songstress with an enviable range, Christina will be treating Zedel's audiences to a selection of the best of musical theatre through the ages at two concerts in their intimate Crazy Coqs venue on Monday January 7th 2019, 7pm and 9.15pm.

Christina has received much praise from critics and fans alike for her outstanding performance as Raven, a role she originated when the show premiered at London's Coliseum in 2017, winning the Evening Standard's 'Best Musical' award that year. Broadway World said: 'Christina Bennington is ravishing. She unleashes a full, mixed belt that can quickly shift to a pure, balanced soprano. Her voice drops jaws.'

Christina is delighted to be able to perform some songs from the show and her favourite musicals at Crazy Coqs, that has recently hosted the likes of other leading ladies including; Kerry Ellis, Lucie Jones and Kimberley Walsh. She says; 'I am so excited for my debut concert at Crazy Coqs. After performing in such big venues for Bat Out Of Hell, it's going to be so wonderful to sing some of my favourite songs in an intimate and beautiful setting'

Belfast born and raised, Christina trained at the Guildford School of Acting in Surrey. In addition to Bat Out Of Hell, her theatre credits include; Kim in the West End revival of Show Boat, Johanna in Sweeney Todd at The Mercury Theatre, Colchester and Derby Theatre, Marilyn in A Christmas Carol at the Birmingham Rep and the UK tours of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! and musical comedy The Smallest Show On Earth.
