Cast & Crew of BILLY ELLIOT, 'CHOCOLATE FACTORY', 'SCOUNDRELS' and More Set for West End Football Tournament Today

Today, July 25, stars from on and off-stage in the West End will take part in the WEST END CUP football tournament.

Twelve teams representing ten shows and theatres currently running in the West End will be playing on Friday. They are made up of Front of House staff, Backstage crew and performers.

There will be Group Stages First, followed by a Semi Final and then the Final. The winning team will then be awarded the brand new West End Cup adorned with the colours of their team. It all takes place at the Lucozade Powerleague Old Street.

This match is being played for fun, with an eye to establishing contacts in order to establish a west end tournament of either Five aside Football or a Softball league. Not only could such a league engender a great community spirit -- as the bowling already does, but it would be able to raise money for charities already associated with theatre.
