According to the Daily Mail, joining the previously announced Anne-Marie Duff and Yolanda Kettle in Ella Hickson's new play OIL at The Almeida Theatre this autumn are Leo Bill, Nabil Elouahabi and Sam Swann.

OIL will make its World Premiere at the Almeida, running October 7 - November 26, 2016, directed by Carrie Cracknell.

Per press notes, OIL is described as: "The Stone Age. The Bronze Age. The Iron Age. The Age of Oil. The Stone Age didn't end for want of stones. One woman and her daughter. What do you do when you know it's going to run out? An epic, hurtling crash of empire, history and family - Oil drives our imaginations from 1889 to 2016 and beyond. Playwright Ella Hickson and director Carrie Cracknell make their Almeida debuts with the World Premiere of Oil, an explosive new play which drills deep into the world's relationship with this finite resource."

Duff, who appeared opposite Ethan Hawke in Broadway's MACBETH, recently starred in London in the National Theatre's production of STRANGE INTERLUDE. She was nominated for an Olivier Award and won the London Critics Circle Award for her performance in the title role of ST. JOAN, also at the National. Her many other London stage credits include COLLECTED STORIES, KING LEAR, WAR AND PEACE, LA GRANDE MAGIA and VASSA.

The actress received accolades for her roles in the films SUFFRAGETTE and NOWHERE BOY. Among Duff's small screen credits are the TV movie THE VIRGIN QUEEN, as well as SHAMELESS and FROM DARKNESS.
