Cast Announced For BROMANCE: THE DUDESICAL Image

The premiere of the American musical, 'Bromance:The Dudesical', arrives at The Other Palace this October. After hotly contested auditions, the production team are delighted to announce the incredible cast.

Robbie Smith, who performed in the Bromance workshop last year, will be retaining his role as Dick. Having recently finished the award nominated 'The Worst Little Warehouse in London' at Edinburgh Festival, Robbie "popped back" to his home country, Australia, for a few weeks and now is returning to London to perform at The Other Palace. From a warehouse to a Palace, via Australia!

"Having worked on the workshop in Henley, I'm absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to bring Dick to London. The show is just so well written and different to anything I've ever worked on before so I just can't wait to get going again.", said Robbie.

Director, Sarah Redmond, said "I am thrilled to have Robbie back. Simply, he just gives a great Dick!"

The young and talented, Joshua Gannon will take the role of Marty. Currently performing and gaining high praise as Curly in 'Oklahoma!' at the Gordon Craig Theatre, having previously been in the UK Tour of 'Cilla' and at the London Palladium in 'Wind in the Willows'.

Cellen Chugg-Jones will be taking the role of Tom. Cellen hit headlines recently when he stepped in during the interval of press night to take the leading role in 'Chess' at London's Coliseum, also winning the Broadway World UK award for Best Understudy. Cellen has also performed in Jesus Christ Superstar, where he met...

...Richard J Hunt, who will be playing Harry. Richard, a graduate of Mountview, has recently finished roles in the UK and German tour of 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and in 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicoloured Dreamcoat', for which he received commendations for his "outstanding comedy performance".

Esme Laudat will be performing all the female roles in the show. From the feisty New Yorker girlfriend to Tom, to the southern, girly girl ex-girlfriend of Marty to the Latina She-Bro with a barmaid, mechanic and pop video dancer too, Esme has a serious multi-roling part to play and really impressed with her fearlessness and variety in the auditions. An Arts Ed and Brit School Graduate, Esme has just finished 'Spamilton' at the Menier Chocolate Factory, having previously been in 'Beautiful - The Carole King Musical'.

With clever lyrics, serious tunes, and laugh out loud funny gags, Bromance will convert even the most die-hard of 'dudes' to musical theatre. The show promises to be an immersive night out, exploring the bizarre world of male friendship and the strange unwritten bro-codes that they live by.
