Frank Sinatra's legendary concert, SINATRA: The Main Event, was billed as the biggest comeback in showbusiness history. Now the 40th anniversary is to be marked in London on Friday October 10 at the Cadogan Hall with a stunning recreation of The Main Event, at New York's Madison Square Garden on October 13, 1974.

SINATRA: The Main Event, features all the greatest and best-loved Sinatra classics, including The Lady Is A Tramp, My Funny Valentine, Mack The Knife, Fly Me To The Moon, My Kinda Town, I Get a Kick Out of You, New York New York and this signature anthem, My Way. It recreates the unforgettable night when Frank played his a sell-out concert to over 20,000 people at New York's Madison Square Garden, following a self-imposed, four-year retirement.
Richard Shelton performed as Frank Sinatra in the West End in Rat Pack Confidential, a stunning performance that saw him nominated Best Actor in a Leading Role in the Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards. He has also performed in front of the Royal Family at Windsor and Prince Albert in Monaco. Shelton, a British actor now resident in Los Angeles, recently recorded an album, An Englishman in Love in LA, in Sinatra's favourite studio at Capitol Records in Hollywood, backed by some of the remaining Sinatra musicians. He has also performed as Sinatra in LA with Hollywood star Jeff Goldblum accompanying him on the piano. He also appeared in the West End in Scrooge - The Musical, the international tour of Mamma Mia! and on TV star in Emmerdale and HBO's House of Lies. At the Cadogan Hall he will be joined onstage by two of the biggest names in musical theatre today.
West End and Broadway star Caroline O'Connor is returning to the UK following a second sensational Broadway season starring in A Christmas Story - The Musical. Caroline belongs to an exclusive group of actresses to be nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for both Best Actress in a Musical (Mack and Mabel) and Best Actress in a Play (Bombshells). Caroline played Nini Legs in the Air in Baz Luhrmann's movie musical Moulin Rouge and played Ethel Merman in De-Lovely. She starred as Velma Kelly in Chicago on Broadway and in her native Australia. She starts work soon on The Life of The Party at The Menier Chocolate Factory.
Louise Dearman recently made history as the first actress to play both starring roles in Wicked - Glinda, the Good Witch of the North, and her sister Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West. She has just starred as Mrs D. in the new musical version of The Water Babies at The Curve in Leicester. Her other major starring roles include Eva Peron in Evita and Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls.
Completing the guest line-up is Renato D'Aiello, the international jazz saxophonist and resident Upstairs at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Barr.
SINATRA: The Main Event will play London after a summer season at The Globe, the 900-seat venue located within the UK's No.1 tourist attraction, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, where it opens on July 4 and plays to September 6.
