"CALENDAR GIRLS" now becomes the most successful play ever to tour the United Kingdom, a record previously held by Nigel Havers in the acclaimed production of Daphne Du Mauriers's "Rebecca".
Award-winning Producers David Pugh & Dafydd Rogers have now announced that next year, 2011, will be the final tour before in releasing the amateur rights in 2012.
David Pugh said:

The first leg of the "CALENDAR GIRLS" 2011 tour will open at the Bristol Hippodrome on 26 January starring Lynda Bellingham (the original star of "CALENDAR GIRLS" on stage, 'OXO Mum' and Loose Woman) as 'Chris - Miss October', Jennifer Ellison (famously 'Roxie Hart' in "Chicago", both in London and on a sell-out tour and Hell's Kitchen winner) as 'Celia - Miss September', Trudie Goodwin (best-known for her 23 years as 'Sergeant June Ackland' in "The Bill") as 'Annie - Miss February', Ruth Madoc (nationally known as 'Gladys Pugh' in "Hi-De-Hi!" and "Little Britain") as 'Marie - the head of the WI, BErnie Nolan (member of The Nolans and TV's "The Bill") as 'Cora - Miss July', Lisa Riley ('Mandy Dingle' in "Emmerdale") as 'Ruth - Miss November', Gwen Taylor (television legend whose credits include "Yes, Prime Minister", "Duty Free" and "Heartbeat") as 'Jessie - Miss January', and Diana Moran (the legendary Green Goddess) as Lady Cravenshire, with Bruno Langley (a regular in "Coronation Street" and 'Adam Mitchell' in "Doctor Who") will play photographer 'Lawrence' and Joe McGann (famous as one of the McGann brothers and from TVs "UPPER HAND") will play 'John', 'Annie's husband and introducing Danielle Lineker (Mrs Lineker, the much sought-after model) who is making her stage debut as 'Elaine'.
This cast of "CALENDAR GIRLS" will also visit Dublin's Grand Canal Theatre (7 - 19 February), Palace Theatre Manchester (21 - 26 February), Cliffs Pavilion Southend (28 February - 5 March), Grand Theatre and Opera House Leeds (7 - 19 March), Empire Sunderland (21 - 26 March), Milton Keynes Theatre (28 March - 9 April) and the Birmingham Hippodrome (11 - 16 April).
