Designer Rosie Elnile, Composer and Musical Director James Frewer and Director Elayce Ishmail have joined Boundless Theatre as associate artists.
The Associate Artist scheme, now in its tenth year, provides much needed ongoing support to playwrights, directors, designers and theatre makers who want to make extraordinary theatre for young adult audiences. Through structured mentoring, access to R&D resources and encouragement to make new work, Boundless Theatre hope to make a positive impact on the broader theatre community in the UK. Each associate will be given a £2000 unrestricted bursary and further access to resources to develop new theatre as well as being supported to make international research trips. At Boundless Theatre we want to spend more time with the best theatre artists, who will provoke us, meet our audiences, take inspiration from outside of the UK and be powerful members of the team throughout their time with us."
