NYC based award winning composer/writer Bobby Cronin is no stranger to London, his debut was hosted in January 2010 at The Players Theatre and his music is becoming more and more part of the new music theatre scene in London. The Concrete Jungle was originally commissioned by Chris Hocking, Director of Musical Theatre at the prestigious Arts Educational School London (President: Andrew Lloyd Webber) for the graduating students of 2012. A contemporary take on the Cyrano de Bergerac story with a female twist, The Concrete Jungle is a romantic comedy of epic proportions, set in The Concrete Jungle Bar & Grill in New York City, where Abby, a nearing 30-year old Ivy League graduate, works while waiting for her writing career and love life to finally start. When Abby receives a random phone call, her life is changed forever as hilarity and mistaken identity infiltrate The Concrete Jungle. Can Abby find the strength to tell her romantic interest the truth or will she continue sleeping sideways in her lonely bed, letting her soul mate say, "I love you" to the wrong woman?

He and book writer Allen Mogol were awarded 2012 The Alec Baldwin Fellowship in NYC for their musical 'TIL DEATHT DO US PART.
