To be honest, if you're interested enough to read this review, I'm fairly sure you'll enjoy Scooby-Doo - The Mystery of the Pyramid (now touring the UK).
It may not be groundbreaking theatre, but that's not what it's there for - it's a brisk romp through your typical Scooby-Doo story, with songs and audience participation thrown in.
This time, the gang are in Egypt, where they're on the tracks of treasure and ghostly mummies in Pharoah Hatchepsout's pyramid.
As with all the best family entertainment, there are jokes for the grown-ups that the kids won't quite get - and everyone will love joining in the usual chants of "Behind you!"
The energetic cast hold a thin plot and loud backing track together well, interacting well with their young fans (my three-year-old nephew was delighted to be able to high-five Fred, Velma and Daphne as they trekked round the auditorium), and pulling off a polished, fun 90-minute show.
