Sunday performances have been added to the BARKING IN ESSEX schedule, with the first one on Sunday 17 November. There will now be a 3pm performance each Sunday through to Sunday 22 December. The new performance schedule from Saturday 9 November will be Tuesdays to Saturdays at 7.30pm, Thursdays and Saturdays at 2.30pm and Sundays at 3.00pm.
The limited season of Clive Exton's comedy, BARKING IN ESSEX, starring Lee Evans, Sheila Hancock, Keeley Hawes, Karl Johnson and Montserrat Lombard, must end at London's Wyndham's Theatre on Saturday 4 January 2014.
Freedom finally beckons for lowlife con man Algie Packer. He's done seven years inside and now he's coming home to spend his carefully stashed cash - £3.5million in untraceable notes. But there's something Algie's family has forgotten to mention... The Packers are your average dysfunctional Essex crime family with a big problem. Are they going to be able to cover their tracks before Algie arrives home?
Clive Exton's writing credits include the highly-acclaimed film 10 Rillington Place, Poirot, and Jeeves and Wooster. BARKING IN ESSEX is directed by Harry Burton (The Dumb Waiter, The Leisure Society), with design by Simon Higlett, lighting by James Farncombe, sound by Gareth Owen and casting by Anne Vosser. It is produced in London by MJE Productions, Theatre Royal Haymarket Productions and James Quaife Productions.
