As excitement builds on stage for The Golden Age Of Dance, two of the dance world's finest, Anton Du Beke and Joanne Clifton, have been announced as very special guests to add even more sparkle to what will no doubt be an evening of fabulous dance, glamour and music, joining a fabulous cast of West End dancers and performers.
Hosted at London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane on 13th November, The Golden Age Of Dance is a nostalgic evening of entertainment set to a soundtrack of Hollywood's finest music by composers including George and Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin and many more.
As one of the most recognised figures in dance today, Anton Du Beke needs little introduction. Best known as one of the professional dancers on Strictly Come Dancing, he has also become one of our best loved TV presenters.
Joanne Clifton rose to prominence winning the World Ballroom Showdance Championship in 2013. Her credits include Marilyn in The Norma Jean Musical, Streetwalker in Irving Berlin's Face The Music. Since 2014 she has also been one of the professional dancers on Strictly Come Dancing
Hosted by the incomparable Russell Grant, the soundscape for the evening will be provided by the fabulous Novello Orchestra, with choreography by Alan Burkitt (Top Hat, Singin' In The Rain).
Led by David Mahoney of the Classical Brit winning vocal group Only Men Aloud, The Novello Orchestra has quickly become renowned for it's passionate, enigmatic performances and a charisma that has injected an energy and innovative take on the whole orchestral concept.
