Two girls, five boys, mind-blowing beatboxing, breathtaking harmonies, superlative arrangements, stunning choreography, visual technicolor and one helluva show. GOBSMACKED! is set to blast into London this Summer as the brand new a cappella show takes over The Udderbelly on the Southbank in June and July.

Having enjoyed successful runs in Edinburgh and Hong Kong, this is the London debut of Gobsmacked!. This all-singing theatrical experience is set to do for a cappella what Stomp! did for drumming. The multitalented cast of singers and beatboxers perform both classic and contemporary songs including arrangements of tracks by The Killers, Queen, James Brown and Adele. Embracing all forms of a cappella, from street corner harmonies to cutting edge multi-track live looping, Gobsmacked! pushes vocal boundaries to deliver a slick, musically accomplished, high energy spectacular with not a single musical instrument to be seen... Only the human voice.

Gobsmacked is composed of a truly international cast. The magnificent seven include Brazillian heartthrob Ricardo, Bostonian beauty Ayanna, Ozzie larrikin Ben, Ed Scott - the bassman extraordinaire, sexy siren Joanne and reigning and three-time undefeated UK Beatbox Champion of the World Ball-Zee who adds his trademark punch and zest to the ingenious and captivating arrangements.

The show has been created by a crack of team entertainment creatives and producers: Alexandra Spencer-Jones, artistic director of Action to the Word and associate director of Bend It Like Beckham; Nic Doodson founding member of The Magnets and international leading expert in a cappella; producer Steven Howard and The TCB Group, who have worked with a variety of talent from Daft Punk to Darcey Bussell; Philip Gladwell whose lighting design credits include The James Plays and circus spectacular LIMBO; composer and arranger Jack Blume who has composed additional music for many films, tv shows and commercials, and was a member of a cappella group The Sons of Pitches; and international producer Andrew Kay, the man behind Soweto Gospel Choir and many major London theatrical hits, including Richard III with Kevin Spacey and Waiting for Godot with Ian McKellan.
