Timothy Sheader's critically acclaimed production of To Kill a Mockingbird runs tonight, 28 August, through 13 September at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre.
The award-winning production (Best Revival, WhatsOnStage Awards), which has now sold over 75,000 tickets, taking £2.3 million at the box office, returns to the Open Air Theatre following sell-out performances in 2013, and precedes a UK tour.
To Kill a Mockingbird is the most successful play ever to be staged at the Open Air Theatre, and follows this season's other productions Hobson's Choice and Twelfth Night re-imagined for everyone aged six and over (both of which play until 12 July), and the Gershwins' Porgy and Bess (17 July - 23 August).
The tour will begin on 15 September 2014 at Canterbury Marlowe Theatre and will tour to Norwich, Malvern, Woking, Leicester, Cardiff, High Wycombe, Cambridge and Birmingham. Further dates for 2015 will be announced in due course.
