20th Annual Kids Week Issues Over 104,000 Tickets in First 24 Hours

More than 104,000 tickets have been issued in the first 24 hours for Kids Week, the annual London theatre initiative run by the Society of London Theatre. Kids Week encourages families to experience live theatre with over 35 top shows taking part and offering free tickets for children throughout August and is supported by See Tickets.

During Kids Week one child aged 16 or under can go free to a wide range of participating shows when accompanied by an adult paying full price. In addition, two extra children can go for half price, and there are no booking, postage or transaction fees. This year marks the 20th Kids Week, which began in 1998 and over the years has reached over 1.2 million children and families.

There is still time to take part in Kids Week 2017 with over 90,000 tickets remaining for performances throughout August.

No other art form can unite and inspire people like theatre and we look forward to welcoming a new generation of theatregoers to our member venues across the city."
