Sabrine Aloueche names her favourites...

'The Colour Purple' at The Menier, 'Dogfight' and 'In The Heights' both at the Southwark Playhouse, 'Urinetown' at the St James Theatre, 'Water Babies' at The Curve...all of these smaller-scale productions made a big impact!
It was the year we met new musicals such as 'Made in Dagenham', 'Memphis' (two incredible shows with even more incredible performers!) and the year we bid farewell to We Will Rock You, a show which remains firmly in my heart and one I owe a lot to.
Showstopper!'s Lucy Trodd puts her list together...
Highlights: The White Whale (Leeds Dock, slung low) - my fave! Seeing my friends Hara and Gavin in 1984's West End transfer. Then there's The Play That Goes Wrong (West End transfer), Secret Theatre at the Lyric Hammersmith, Kate Tempest, Brand New Ancients in Edinburgh, and War Correspondents (Helen Chadwick/ Steven Hoggett).
Tiffany Graves picks her highlights...
To watch: anniversary gala performance of Miss Saigon - poignant, beautifully executed and a wonderful stroll down memory lane.
To do - performing at The Dominion as part of West End Heroes. A great honour to be part of and a thrill to be on stage with drums, bayonets and so many gorgeous men!
Rebecca Caine pays tribute to people...
Hugely inspired by great female performances. Helen McCrory was extraordinary as Medea and Gillian Anderson as Blanche in Streetcar. I've loved the cinema broadcasts: Manon from the Royal Ballet and Billy Elliot were wonderful. Also, wonderful to see Matthew Ryan finally getting the attention he deserves for his direction of Dogfight at the Southwark Playhouse.
Ben Stott enjoys ideas...
Highlight of 2014 for me has to be Mr Burns at the Almeida! It was by far the bravest piece of theatre I've seen in a long time. I've never seen a bar after a show so full of an audience revelling in a play's ideas. Brilliant!
Tim Driesen loved one particular musical...
My theatrical highlight of 2014 was The Bodyguard. Beautifully directed and designed, stunning choreography and strong vocals singing some of the best pop songs ever written. So good I watched it three times!
