Old Opera House Theatre Company presents SUGAR BEAN SISTERS, a comedy by Nathan Sanders, rated PG13, October 19-28, 2012. For tickets and more information, visit: http://www.oldoperahouse.org/
The perfect way to usher in the Halloween season, this comedy takes us to the swamps and sugarcane fields of Florida. Here we meet the Nettle Sisters, two women determined to escape spinsterhood; Willie Mae by going to Salt Lake City to find a good Mormon husband and Faye by jumping on the spaceship when the "space people" return for another visit. When a disturbance in the sugarcane fields lures the sisters outside to investigate and a strange bird-like woman appears, the Sugar Bean Sisters hatch a diabolical and comical plot to ensure the space people's return.
