Don't miss your chance to catch The Aracoma Story, Inc's terrifying production of Bram Stoker's gothic horror classic Dracula! This upcoming weekend will serve as the production's final and features a terrifying haunted experience, dubbed the Transylvania Lunatic Asylum tour, which audiences can choose to experience before settling down to enjoy the show. Performances will be held at the Liz Spurlock Amphitheater at Chief Logan State Park.
The production, written by Steven Dietz, closely follows the novel of the same name and tells the story of the vampire Dracula and those who seek to identity him in hopes of stopping his reign of terror before he claims more victims.
The Aracoma Story, Inc has made Dracula a true Halloween spectacular by adding the additional tour of a haunted asylum. Aracoma Story, Inc. Director Bill France took a moment to speak about the experience.
"There's never been a haunted experience of this magnitude staged in Southern West Virginia," said France, who described the tour of the Transylvania Lunatic Asylum as containing, "murderous mad men, blood-thirsty vampires and things that go bump in the night."
Those who are not fans of haunted experiences but would still like to enjoy the show, fear not! France made sure to state that "those who are faint of heart can watch the show without taking the tour of the asylum."
Interested audiences can catch the show and tour during their final performances on October 25th through the 27th, 2018. Gates open at 7:00 PM with the preshow beginning at 8:00 PM, followed immediately by the show.
