Through the most turbulent events of the first half of the 20th Century, David Sarnoff rises to prominence as the world's first media mogul, while Philo Farnsworth languishes in obscurity. One a master of industry, the other a genius of invention, these two intellectual giants find themselves on a collision course with one another and with history as they race to create Television.

An intensely personal drama and a decade spanning epic, The Farnsworth Invention is rife with Aaron Sorkin's signature wit and mile-a-minute banter as it depicts the history behind the invention that changed the world.
