Pat Metheny Side-Eye at Concert Hall at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts

Far more than a guitar legend, 20-time Grammy®-winner Pat Metheny is a brilliant builder of bands. As a teenage prodigy, Metheny made remarkable creative strides by keeping company with older musicians. He created the payback project Side-Eye to offer younger players a similar experience, reinterpreting his classic compositions and exploring recently composed tunes inspired by his Side-Eye collaborators. Designed as an ongoing showcase featuring a rotating cast of players, the project’s first incarnation will be an unforgettable encounter spotlighting two sensational rising stars: pianist Chris Fishman and drummer Joe Dyson.
