Monsters of the American Cinema by Christian St. Croix is third play in Prologue Theatres FOREWORD: A New Works Series. Each play that is a part of the Series is workshopped for two weeks during which time the playwrights work with a director and a team of artists leading up to a public, virtual, live reading of the work. This play, Monsters of the American Cinema, asks What do we need to fight the monsters we create? While still under development, the play explores key themes of teenagers, parenthood, addiction, bullying, grief, growing up, and more. Join us on the 15th for a full reading of the play followed by a conversation with playwright Christian St. Croix.
