Critically acclaimed concert pianist Joyce Yang brings her youthful and dynamic talent to a performance at The Barns. The accomplished musician has performed on some of the world’s largest stages, including the Filene Center alongside the National Symphony Orchestra. Her intimate recital at The Barns will include pieces by Bach, Schumann, and Brahms. After receiving a first-rate musical education at the Julliard School, Yang received an Avery Fisher Career Grant, one of the most prestigious awards in classical music, in 2010. She is a frequent guest on American Public Media’s nationally syndicated radio program Performance Today and released her debut album of live performances, Collage, in November 2011.
