Exception to the Rule, directed by Miranda Haymon, opens Studio Theatre's 2024-2025 season with a fresh cast of young talent exploring the trials of high school life. This comedic drama, written by Dave Harris, is set in a purgatorial detention where six teens grapple with the trauma of their experiences. The ensemble features Khalia Muhammad, Steven Taylor Jr., Jacques Jean-Mary, Shana Hill, Khouri St. Surin, and Sabrina Lynne Sawyer, portraying the complex dynamics and pressures faced by contemporary students.
