Babbitt, adapted from Sinclair Lewis’s satirical novel, explores the life of George F. Babbitt, a successful real estate agent played by Matthew Broderick, who embarks on a reckless rebellion against societal conformity. The play, directed by Christopher Ashley and adapted by Joe DiPietro, features notable performances by Tony Award-winners Judy Kaye and Ali Stroker, along with Ann Harada and Matt McGrath. Running from October 1 to November 3 at the Shakespeare Theatre Company's Harman Hall, the production promises a humorous and introspective look at the modern middle-class American experience.
