Live the Origin Story of one of anime's most legendary heroes in this multimedia spectacular featuring puppetry, digital projections, & live performance. Rocket through all ten “episodes” of this explosive and emotional story in a single performance every night.
Created by Natsu Onoda Power, ASTRO BOY & THE GOD OF COMICS was first produced at the Studio Theatre; an earlier version of the play was developed by Live Action Cartoonists.
"You don't have to be a manga maniac or a devotee of anime to enjoy Astro Boy and the God of Comics. What Power has done with this little show is tell the unique yet universal story of an artist and his obsession by yanking you into his work and his world, using every theatrical trick in the book. What a way to travel." - Jane Horwitz, Washingtonian
